Philosophy of Care
At Blaendyffryn Hall Nursing Home, the rights of residents are fundamental to our philosophy of care and we aim to encourage our residents to exercise those rights to the full.
Sources of Referral
Residents requiring personal and social care may be directly referred to Blaendyffryn Hall Nursing Home by means of self-referral if privately funded; or from the local and out of county Social Services
Prospective residents and/or relatives are invited to visit and are welcome to spend the day with us prior to arranging admission, to meet with staff and to gain a feel for the home.
Welcome to Blaendyffryn Hall Nursing Home
Blaendyffryn Hall is an established care home situated in Horeb near Llandysul. The home is a beautiful historical building that is set amongst extensive grounds. It is approximately five minutes from Llandysul, and about 15 minutes from the market town of Newcastle Emlyn, providing easy access to local amenities and community services.
Blaendyffryn is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate (Wales) (CSSIW) under the terms of the Care Standards Act 2000 to provide 30 personal and nursing care beds for older people over the age of 65 years. We are also registered to provide personal and nursing care to two people under the age of 65 within our 30 bed registration. Prospective clients whose needs fall outside of our registration category may be considered on an individual basis and only by special consideration from CSSIW to temporarily vary registration.
